Usage: 2-methylfuran can be used as a solvent for solution polymerization and also for the production of pentadiene, pentadiol, acetylpropanol, ketones and 2-methyltetrahydrofuran, as well as vitamin B1, chloroquine phosphate and primary ammonia quine phosphate. It is a good solvent for pyrethroid pesticides, food flavors and fragrances, and can be used for pyrethroid insecticides
